Mercer Island Park & Ride Expansion

This Sound Transit project constructed a two-floor parking garage on the existing park-and-ride lot. The garage designed and constructed in a manner that minimizes the visual impact on the surrounding community. The rider loading areas for both east and westbound stops on North Mercer Way were expanded. New bus shelters, wider platforms, bicycle storage, and extensive landscaping were included. All site improvements considered safe and functional circulation for bus loading, pedestrians and bicyclists.
