Madison Street Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service will provide high-frequency, all-day, fast, reliable, and safe public transportation between First Avenue in downtown Seattle and Martin Luther King Jr Way.
Working with the engineers at KPFF, Nakano Associates is providing landscape architectural design for the project including landscape concept plans and assessment of existing street trees along the entire route. Station related landscaping and a new pocket park planned for the intersection of Madison Avenue and East Pike Street are some of the new landscape improvements that will be part of the project.
