Nakano Associates designed a new seven circuit Chartres labyrinth tucked into a quiet garden on the Seattle University campus. The garden provides a secluded yet safe area for students, faculty and staff to engage in the traditional contemplative activity of walking a labyrinth. This permanent, outdoor labyrinth features rustic Pennsylvania bluestone in an immersive green setting, including the delicate groundcover under one’s feet and the enclosure of mature trees
