Ida is a well-organized project manager and strategic thinker. Her expertise in site analysis, design and planning is applied to projects ranging from intimately scaled residential design to urban design and park master planning. Ida is passionate about promoting outdoor recreation and environmental education. She is committed to economically sound design solutions, designing for unique site conditions and user needs, and integrating sustainable strategies into the firm’s projects. Ida’s experience having worked in Sweden, the Pacific Northwest and Alaska influences her work, and she draws much of her inspiration from spending time in the outdoors.

Ida has been responsible for management of a variety of projects including the Bellingham Arts District, Everett Performing Arts Plaza and Maier Hall at Peninsula College. Her responsibilities include project management and design, cost estimating and construction administration. Ida enjoys managing the collaborative effort of a design team and creating solutions that emphasize long lasting economic, ecologic and social value to the client and community at large.
