Federal Way Town Square Park Community Engagement

Nakano Associates is excited to be a part of designing a new Town Square Park for downtown Federal Way in collaboration with its passionate and engaged community members. Recently, our firm and the City of Federal Way led a community engagement workshop to involve the community in the design process and provide a creative event for voicing wish lists and concerns.
Feedback from the passionate participants of this workshop is immensely valuable. In order to design a public space that Federal Way will take pride in, feel ownership for, and that accurately reflects the unique character of the city, we know that it is critical to listen to the voices that make up the community.
The public engagement process is an integral step in each phase of the design development for the downtown park.
We look forward to continued community involvement as we work towards developing a dynamic, collaborative vision for the future Town Square Park in the heart of downtown Federal Way.
